Age Relaxation :
** Age Relaxation with regard to In-Service and Ex-Servicemen will be given as per the Govt. of India Provisions.
** 5 years for SC/ST candidates
** 3 years for OBC
** 10 years for the Person with Disability.
** The upper age limit shall be determined as on the last date of registration of application as specified above.
a) Pass in PUC or equivalent
b) Registered “A” Grade Nurse under any State Nursing Council
c) B.Sc Nursing with Registration under any State Nursing Council.
Experience : 2 Years experience in a reputed hospital (for Non-Degree Holders)
Pay Matrix : In Level-7, Index-1 (Rs. 44,900-1,42,400/-.) as per 7th CPC
Initial Pay : Rs.44,900 /-P.M with admissible allowance as per the Institute rules.
For General Candidates : Rs. 1000/- Plus
For SC/ ST Candidates : Rs. 750/- Plus
CGST : 9%
SGST : 9% and shall be paid through DEBIT CARD/ CREDIT CARD / NET BANKING.

The Online Recruitment Test will be based from among the subjects pertaining to
(a) General Nursing
(b) Neurological Nursing,
(c) Psychiatric Nursing and
(d) Infection Control.
Terms & Conditions
** The aspiring applicants satisfying the eligibility criteria in all respect can submit their application only through On-line mode.
** The On-line registration of applications is made available on NIMHANS website
** Mock Test Paper will be uploaded in the Website on 22.05.2018
Note : Mock Test is not related to the actual examination, it is just to get familiarize with the examination pattern only)
** The On-line Registration will be closed on 10.05.2018.
** Candidate must be an Indian National residing in India only.
** Be careful while uploading your photo and signature. Both must be visible clearly on Registration Slip.
** The candidates are advised to bring Admit Card downloaded from NIMHANS website at the time of Online Recruitment Test .
** The Online Recruitment Test will be held on 03.06.2018 in Bengaluru only.
** The candidates are advised to download their Admit Card from NIMHANS website as no admit card will be sent by post.
** The Admit Cards will be hosted on NIMHANS website on or after 22.05.2018.
** On the basis of Online Recruitment Test (Computer Based) merit candidates will be called for skill test.
** Date and Time of skill test will be notified along with the result.
Wherever there is a tie in the marks, final scoring will be determined by the following criteria for breaking the tie during the skill test:
a) No. of Attempts of the qualifying exams.
b) Percentage in qualifying exams.
c) Date of Birth
** All the original certificates/documents will be verified at the time of skill test.
On the basis of Online Recruitment Test, the short listed candidates must bring all original certificates along with one set of photocopy, duly attested, viz
a. Copy of downloaded Registration Slip of On-line application form
b. Copy of downloaded Admit Card
c. Certificate showing the Date of Birth
d. Certificate of passing the Graduation from a recognized university/Board
e. Caste Certificate if applied under SC/ST/OBC category issued by the Competent Authority.
f. Disability Certificate, if applied under PwD.
g. “No Objection Certificate” if in employment
h. Experience certificate, if any.
** Those who are in employment must submit a “NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE” from the employer at the time of Skill test.
** Cut off date for calculation of age, experience etc is 10.05.2018.

Conformation message screen will be displayed click OK button.
A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Click continue button. Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password.
Login for already Registered Candidates
Step 1 : Enter your Registration Number

Step 3 : Click Submit button.
Basic information screen will be displayed below. Click next button, photo signature uploaded screen displayed.
Upload Photo & Signature
Step 1 : Browse and select the location where the scanned Photograph files have been saved.
Step 2 : Select the file by clicking on it.
Step 3 : Browse and select the location where the scanned Signature files have been saved. Again follow the step 2.
Step 4 : Click the ‘Upload’ button. then Click “Save Photo & Signature” Button.
** After successfully creating Profile, candidate can fill application by pressing “Apply” button.
Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before “FINAL SUBMIT”.
** Modify details, if required, and click on ‘FINAL SUBMIT’ only after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature and & PWD certificate uploaded and other details filled by you are correct.
** Click on ‘PAYMENT’ Tab and proceed for payment.
** Click on ‘SUBMIT’ button.
Payment Of Fees Online Mode
1. The payment can be made by using only Debit Cards (Rupay/ Visa/ Master) , Credit cards , Internet Banking , IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets – Vodafone MPesa, Airtel Money, Oxicash, Mobikwik, Paycash etc.
2. After submitting your payment information in the online application form, Please Wait For The Intimation From The Server. Do Not Press Back Or Refresh Button In Order To Avoid Double Charge
3. On successful completion of the transaction, an e-Receipt will be generated.
4. Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-Receipt and online Application Form
5. There is facility to print application form containing fee details after payment of fees.
Guidelines For Scan & upload
Scanning the Photograph captured :
Dimensions : 200 x 230 Pixels (Preferred)
Size of the File : 20 KB- 100 KB
i. Points to keep in mind while capturing photograph of the applicant:
1. Photograph must be a recent Passport Style Colour picture.
2. Ensure that the photograph is captured against a light coloured background.
3. Applicant should be looking straight at the camera with a relaxed face
4. If the applicant wears spectacles/glasses, he/she should ensure that there are no reflections and his/her eyes are clearly visible in the photograph captured.
ii. Point to keep in mind while scanning the Photograph captured:
1. Set the scanner resolution to a minimum of 200 dpi (dots per inch).
2. Set ‘Colour’ setting in the Scanner to ‘True Colour’.
3. File Size of the scanned image of the Photograph captured should be as specified as above.
I. Scanning the Signature :
Dimensions : 140 x 60 Pixels (Preferred)
Size of the File : 20 KB- 100 KB
i. Points to keep in mind while scanning the signature of the applicant:
a. The Applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink Pen.
b. The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.
c. Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 100 KB.
