TNSTC, Coimbatore, TNSTC Kumbakonam Region, TNSTC, Villupuram Region, TNSTC Tirunelveli Region and TNSTC Nagercoil Region invites Online application from eligible Graduate/Diploma holders in Engineering (passed during 2019, 2020 & 2021), hailing from Tamilnadu, for undergoing one year Apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973.

Vacancies
A. Category – I Graduate Apprentices:
Monthly Stipend INR – Rs.4984/-
Duration of Training – One Year
B. Category – II Technician (Diploma) Apprentices :
Monthly Stipend INR – Rs.3582/-
Duration of Training – One Year
Educational Qualifications
A. Category – I Graduate Apprentices:-
** A Degree in Engineering or Technology with First Class granted by a Statutory University in relevant discipline.
** A Degree in Engineering or Technology with First Class granted by an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament in relevant discipline.
** Graduate examination with First Class of Professional bodies recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
B. Category – II Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:-
** A Diploma in Engineering or technology with First Class granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline.
** A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted with First Class by a University in relevant discipline.
** A Diploma in Engineering and Technology with First Class granted by an Institution recognised by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
Age Limit
Age limit will be followed as per Apprenticeship Rules
Previous Training/Experience
Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973, and/or having one year or more experience are not eligible to apply.
Selection Procedure
Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) is interested with the task of preparation of shortlist from the online application data. Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification as applicable to the respective disciplines. Shortlisted candidates shall be intimated through their registered Email id. Shortlisted candidates have to appear for Certificate Verification at Chennai.

For students who have already enrolled in the National Web Portal and having login details:
After verification of student enrolment by BOAT (SR), a student can able to login and apply
Step 1:
a. Login
b. Click Establishment Request Menu
c. Click Find Establishment
d. Upload Resume
e. Choose Establishment name
f. Type “BOARD OF APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING (SOUTHERN REGION)” and search [STNCHC000041]
g. Click apply
h. Click apply again.
For students who have not so far enrolled in the National Web Portal :
Step 1:
a. Go to http://www.mhrdnats.gov.in/
b. Click Enroll
c. Complete the application form
d. A unique Enrolment Number for each student will be generated.

Please wait for atleast one day for enrollment verification and approval. After this student can proceed to Step 2.
Step 2 :
a. Login
b. Click Establishment Request Menu
c. Click Find Establishment
d. Upload Resume
e. Choose Establishment name
f. Type “BOARD OF APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING (SOUTHERN REGION)” and search [STNCHC000041]
g. Click apply
h. Click apply again
