DTE Maharashtra MAH-MCA-CET Hall Ticket

The Online applications are invited for CET for admission to First Year / Direct Second Year (Separate Division & Lateral Entry) of Three-year full time Post Graduate Degree course in Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in the Government, Govt. Aided, University Managed, University Departments and Unaided Institutes in the Maharashtra State.

How To Download

** Intimation for downloading Hall Ticket will also be sent through email/SMS.
** Once the candidate clicks the relevant link, he/she can access the window for Hall Ticket download.

Go to the Official web page click “Download Hall Ticket ” Tab, Download Screen will be displayed .

Hall Ticket will be online from the above mentioned date. Download your Hall Ticket before the closure date.

Note :
Candidate needs to affix recent recognizable photograph on the Hall Ticket preferably the same as provided during registration and appear at the examination centre with (i) Hall Ticket (ii) Photo Identity Proof as stipulated below and also specified in the Hall Ticket and Photo Identity Proof as brought in original.

Identity Verification

In the examination hall, the Hall Ticket along with original of the candidate’s currently valid photo identity such as PAN Card/ Passport/Permanent Driving Licence / Voter’s Card/ Bank Passbook with photograph/ Photo identity proof issued by a Gazzetted Officer on official letterhead along with photograph / Photo identity proof issued by a People’s Representative on official letterhead along with photograph / valid recent Identity Card issued by a recognized College/ University/ Aadhaar/E-Aadhar card with a photograph/ Employee ID/ Bar Council Identity Card with photograph should be submitted to the invigilator for verification.

FAQs

1. How do I download my call letter?
Follow the link from organisation website to download call letter. At login page, enter the Registration No / Roll No and Password / DOB(dd-mm-yy) at the required places to download the Call Letter.

2. What should I do if there is a lot of delay in accessing the page?
Internet based Call letter download depends on various factors like Internet Speed. Large number of Applicants will be trying to download the Call Letter at the same time.

Therefore, if you are not able to download the Call Letter immediately, please retry after a gap of 5 minutes or during off-peak hours during the night.

3. Where do I get the Registration No & Password?
REGISTRATION NO. & PASSWORD are generated at the time of registration and displayed on the screen. These are also sent to the candidate immediately upon successful registration, by way of auto generated email acknowledgement, at the email address registered by him.

4. My date of birth is rejected on login screen.
Candidate should ensure that the DATE OF BIRTH is same as he had entered at the time of registration. Candidate can refer the APPLICATION PRINT for the DATE OF BIRTH entered by him. The date of Birth should be entered in DD-MM-YY format.

5. I am unable to login/ screen displays the login failed message.
Please check your entries in login screen. You should use REGISTRATION NO. & PASSWORD as received at the time of registration. It was also mailed to you in auto generated email acknowledgement. Also, make sure that the DATE OF BIRTH you have entered is same as you entered at the time of registration and printed in the application print.

Test Centre for CET

** MAH-MCA-CET 2018 will be conducted in the selected cities in Maharashtra & outside Maharashtra State.
** Each centre may have many “Venues” depending upon the number of candidates appearing at that centre.

** The examination will be conducted online at venues given in the respective Hall Ticket.
** No request for change of centre/venue/date/session for Examination shall be entertained.

Syllabus & Marking Scheme

The Online CET would be comprised of Four (4) sections viz. Mathematics & Statistics, Logical / Abstract Reasoning, English Comprehension and Verbal ability and Computer Concepts of 200 marks, with composite time of 90 minutes’ duration.

Syllabus  :
a) Mathematics & Statistics:
The questions will cover the following topics of high school mathematics (up to the 12th standard)

Algebra,Co-ordinate Geometry,Differential Equations,Trigonometry,Probability and Statistics,Arithmetic,Basic Set Theory and Functions,Mensuration

b) Logical / Abstract Reasoning :
This shall include the questions to measures how quickly and logically you can think. This section will cover logical situations and questions based on the facts given in the passage.

c) English comprehension and verbal ability :
There will be questions on the topics such as Basic English grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, synonyms, antonyms, sentence correction, word & phrases, jumbled paragraph.

d) Computer Concepts :
Computer Basics,Data Representation,Computer Architecture,Computer Language,Operating System basics

** There is negative marking system for this CET. Each correct answer will carry 2 marks.
