Assam Rifles Technical and Tradesman Recruitment Rally 2024 is tentatively scheduled from 18 December 2023 onwards for enrolment into Group B and C posts against 161 vacancies based on applications received from eligible male / female candidates for the trades/ posts. Candidate must be a citizen of India. Last Date for Submission of Application is 19th November 2023.

Educational Qualification of Assam Rifles Technical and Tradesman

1. Trade – Personal Assistant – (Both Male & Female candidates), Initial Rank – Warrant Officer
a) Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from recognized Board or University or equivalent.
(b) Skill Test Norms on Computer:-
(i) Dictation. 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute.
(ii) Transcription Time. 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on computer, Age Limit
2. Trade – Religious Teacher – (For Male candidates only), Initial Rank – Naib Subedar
Graduation with Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhusan in Hindi
3. Trade – Lineman Field – (For Male candidates only), Initial Rank – Rifleman
10th class pass from a recognised Board with Industrial Training Institute certificate in Electrician trade from a recognised Institute.
4. Trade – Recovery Vehicle Mechanic – (For Male candidates only), Initial Rank – Rifleman,
10th class pass and Industrial Training Institute (III) certificate in Recovery Vehicle Mechanic or Recovery Vehicle Operator from a recognized Board or University
5. Trade – Bridge & Road – (Both Male & Female candidates), Initial Rank – Naib Subedar,
(a) Matric or equivalent from a recognised Board or University.
(b) Diploma in civil engineering from a recognised institution for Bridge and Road
6. Trade – Electrical & Mechanical – (Both Male & Female candidate), Initial Rank – Naib Subedar,
Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Mechanical or Civil Engineering from a recognised University or Institute
7. Trade – Draftsman – (Both Male & Female candidates), Initial Rank — Warrant Officer,
10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board and three years diploma in Architectural Assistant ship from any recognized Polytechnic College or Institution
8. Trade – Plumber – (For Male candidates only), Initial Rank — Rifleman,
10th class pass from a recognised Board with Industrial Training Institute certificate in Plumber trade from a recognised Institute.
9. Trade – Surveyor ITI – (For Male candidates only), Initial Rank – Havildar,
10th class pass from a recognised Board and Industrial Training Institute certificate in Surveyor trade from a recognised Institute.
10. Trade – X-Ray Assistant – (For Male candidates only), Initial Rank – Havildar,
10+2 pass with diploma in Radiology from a recognised Board or University.

Age Limit of Assam Rifles Technical and Tradesman

18-23 years as on 01 Aug 2023 will be the cut off date for all candidates for determining the age criteria. candidates should not have been born earlier than 01 Aug 2000 and later than 01 Aug 2005.

Age Relaxation :
Age Relaxation available to different category of eligible candidates, are as under:-
SC/ST : 5 years
OBC : 3 years

How to Apply for Assam Rifles Technical and Tradesman?

** To apply, fill up the online application by clicking on ‘ONLINE APPLICATION’ option on the website. The candidates will fill the requisite details as prescribed in the application form.
** After the application has been filled up, the candidates has the option to make online payment via link given for online payment or alternatively the payment can be made at SBI Bank Counters as well.
** In both options the candidate will have to upload copy of the challan or receipt online. Candidates while reporting for Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will produce original copy of payment receipt / challan for official records.
** In case of non submission of receipt / challan the application may be rejected. The candidates will also produce the printed copy of online Application Form duly completed and a copy of notification downloaded from the Assam Rifles website, failing which the candidature of the applicants may be rejected.
** The online applications portal will be functioning from the day of publications of the advertisement to the last date of receipt of the applications.

Important Terms And Instructions Regarding Eligibility And Filling Of Online Application :
1. I, hereby solemnly declare that, all the statement made in the above application are true and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief. I fully understand that in the event of any information being found false or incorrect, appropriate action can be taken against me and my candidature be rejected/made null and void by the Assam Rifles authorities.

2. I also declare/understand that my candidature be rejected/made null and void by the Assam Rifles authorities, if the following is established at any stage of the recruitment rally and later stage as well :
(a) Submission of wrong information with respect to Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC)/ Domicile Certificate/Caste Certificate(If applicable).
(b) Any discrepancy is noticed with respect to documentation at any stage.
(c) Change of Domicile state/Category/Trade at any stage of the recruitment rally.
(d) Having criminal background/criminal proceedings are pending with court of law/police.
(e) Submission of incomplete/false documents (in case of Ex-serviceman).

3. I also understand that merely passing/to qualified in all tests during the recruitment process does not give assurance to be appointed/enrolled in Assam Rifles without full filling all the Qualitative Requirements (QR) and coming up in the Final Merit List for selection based on the vacancies advertised against the particular State/Category/Trade.

4. If, after submission of the application, any criminal case(s) is/are registered against me or arrested/detained by police in any criminal case, the relevant details of the same will be communicated to the Recruitment Branch Assam Rifles by me, immediately on occurrence, failing which it may be deemed to be suppression of factual information by the Assam Rifles.

Application Fee of Assam Rifles Technical and Tradesman

Fee structure and other details are as follows: –
(a) Fee Structure.
For Group B posts (i.e Religious Teacher and Bridge & Road posts only) application fee is Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred only) and for Group C posts (i.e except Religious Teacher and Bridge & Road posts) application fee is Rs.100/. (Rupees one hundred only).

(b) The fee will be deposited online by the c€candidates into SBl current Account No. 37088046712 in favour of HQ DGAR, Recruitment Branch, Shillong-10 at SBI Laitkor Branch IFSC Code – S81N0013883.

(c) NO Fee is charged from candidates belonging to Schedule Casts, Scheduled Tribes, Female and Ex servicemen candidates. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances not will it be adjusted against any other expenses.

What is the Last Date of Applications?

Last date of receipt of applications from eligible candidates for Assam Rifles Technical and Tradesmen Recruitment Rally 2024 is 19 November 2023 (23:59 hrs). Applications received thereafter will not be entertained. The online application SERVER will start functioning from 21October 2023.
