ECIL Electronics Corporation of India Limited is looking for dynamic, experienced and result oriented personnel for ‘Junior Technician on Contract (Grade-II)’ post, purely on fixed tenure contract basis, for a period of 4 months to work for various project requirements across India:

Essential Qualification & Experience

Candidate should have passed ITI (2 years) in the trades of Electronics Mechanic/Electrician/Fitter with one year Apprenticeship and should have minimum One-year post qualification experience (after ITI+Apprenticeship) in contract manufacturing of electronic equipment in PSUs.

Age Relaxation:
3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST; Candidates belonging to PwBD category, having minimum 40% disability or more will get 10 more years relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to the categories mentioned above. Further, the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir from 01/01/1980 to 31/12/1989

Method Of Selection

Candidates will be provisionally shortlisted and called for the Document Verification based on the details furnished in the on-line application form. Process of shortlisting is as detailed below:

(i) Process of short listing: Candidates shall be shortlisted trade wise, category wise as per the data provided in the on-line application in the order of merit (marks obtained in ITI) and relevant experience as detailed below in the ratio of 1:4. In case of a tie, the candidates with higher marks in ITI shall be considered. In case of a further tie, the candidate with earlier date of Birth shall be considered.

Qualification 60% of aggregate percentage in ITI
Relevant experience 40
20 marks for initial ‘one year + apprentice experience’ & 5 marks each for additional 3 months up to 40 marks including initial one)

(ii) Documents verification: Upon preliminary short listing of the candidates, Provisional Offer Letters will be issued to the candidates through an email correspondence and will be called for the Document verification at Hyderabad. There will be no separate communication to any candidate on their non- selection at any stage.

The following documents shall be required to be produced in original along with a set of self-attested photo copies for verification:
a. On-line application form
b. 10th Class certificate or School leaving certificate as Date of birth proof;
c. Identity proof (Govt. issued only; Aadhar, Passport etc.) & recent p/p size color photograph;
d. Documents in support of ITI Qualification (Certificate & Marks sheet);
e. One year apprenticeship certificate;

f. Experience certificates from previous employment, clearly mentioning the duration (from & to dates) and post held. If candidate is currently in employment, a copy of Appointment Order & recent pay slips are to be produced without fail. Work experience indicated without supporting documents shall not be considered and is liable to be excluded while calculating the post-qualification tenure;

g. Category certificate (EWS/OBC/SC/ST), if applying against such reserved posts; In case of OBC, (not older than a year from date of selection) with mandate mention of ‘Non-Creamy Layer’ clause.
h. A valid certificate with respect to Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD); Discharge certificate in case of Ex-servicemen; Relevant certificate, if claiming age relaxation as candidate from J&K; if any.
i. Police Verification Certificate, not older than three months from the date of document verification.

How To Apply?

a) Eligible candidates have to apply on-line by visiting our website “” (Main Page > Careers > Current Job Openings). The on-line application process will be operational from 10/01/2024 (16.00 hrs.) up to 16/01/2024 (16.00 hrs.).

b) Candidate should furnish accurate information/data while filling on-line application form and must produce the supporting document for the same during verification. If the candidate fails to do so, the candidature shall be rejected at any stage of recruitment process.

Details pertains to Apprenticeship & one year post-qualification experience (after ITI+Apprenticeship) should be furnished properly while filling the on-line application form (in experience details field).

c) After applying on-line & successful registration, the candidate is required to take the print of registered on-line application form and retain for future reference without fail. The candidate can take re-print of his/her registered on-line application form before the last date for on-line registration.
