JRHMS Community Health Officer Recruitment
Jharkhand Rural Health Mission Society invites application from eligible candidates for providing contractual services as Community Health Officer (CHO) for a period of one year under National Health Mission Jharkhand. Essential Qualification of Community Health Officer
B.Sc. (Nursing)/ Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) with integrated Curriculum of certificate program in Community Health (CPCH) from any recognized Nursing colleges that have integrated curriculum and passed in or after academic year 2016-2020.
Age Limit of Community Health Officer
** Minimum 21 Age Limit
** Age of the candidate should be as following, as of 1st January, 2024.

Female (Unreserved, BC-1 & BC-II) 38
ST/SC (Male & Female) 40
** Age relaxation of 5 Years shall be given to Divyang (PH Candidates)
** Candidates of Jharkhand state who are claiming reservation in their respective category (ST, SC, BC-I BC-II & EWS) have to submit the Caste Certificate/EWS Certificate in the prescribed format issued by competent authority of Jharkhand.
Required Documents of Community Health Officer
Documents to be submitted online include (All Self Attested)
(a) Adhar Card
(b) Caste Certificate (if applicable)
(c) Education qualification
(d) Matriculation Certificate
(e) EWS Certificate (if applicable)
(f) Divyang Certificate (if applicable)
(g) Certificate of integrated Curriculum of certificate program in Community Health (CPCH)
General Instructions for Community Health Officer
i. The initial contract period will be for one year, renewable subject to satisfactory performance and requirement. Any claim for absorption in the regular position shall not be entertained in future.
ii. The Society reserves the right to cancel any or all positions at any stage of recruitment process. Number of Vacant position may vary as per requirement.
iii. The Society will execute agreement for one year but the agreement may be terminated by any party with one month advance notice.
iv. Selected candidates shall be awarded as CHO, and will be entitled for fixed remuneration of Rs.25,000.00 per month and maximum Rs. 15,000.00 per month as performance-based incentive in accordance with relevant guidelines.
v. Reservation policy and general circular issued by Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Rajbhasha, Govt of Jharkhand issued from time to time will be applicable.
vi. If at any stage of selection, it is found that candidate does not fulfil the eligibility criteria and/or that he/she has furnished incorrect/false information/certificate/documents or has suppressed any material fact(s), his/her candidature will stand cancelled. The decision of the Society in any matter relating to the selection at any stage of the selection process will be final and binding upon the candidates.
vii. For Divyang candidates reservation rules and sports quota reservation rules will be followed as per circular of Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Rajbhasha, Govt of Jharkhand personnel.
viii. Date of birth mentioned in matriculation certificate shall be treated as proof of date of births. No other document for the date of birth shall be accepted.
ix. Eligible candidates may apply through online before 16th March 2024.
x. Jharkhand Nursing Council registration is must at the time of joining if the candidate doesn’t provide the Jharkhand Nursing Council registration certificate at the time of joining then s/he will be not eligible for the post.
xi. Only online applications shall be considered valid. Application received through any other sources, shall not be considered.
Selection Process of Community Health Officer
Selection will be done on merit basis, as certain by the scores obtained in the final B.Sc and Post Basic B.Sc theory and practical examination. Candidates have to obtained minimum number as below category.
(a) 40% for unreserved categories.
(b) 40% for EWS.
(c) 36.5% for BC-II.
(d) 34% for BC-I.
(e) 32% for SC, ST and all category women applicants.
(f) 30% for PGT.
