ePASS Online Post Matric Scholarship

Post-Matric Scholarship is sanctioned to the B.C students studying in different post matric courses (i.e., after SSLC) in the recognized institutions and Universities of the State.

To apply this Scholarship the students should not apply any other scholarship except Merit Scholarship.

Description

The post matric scholarship is awarded at the rates cited below :
i) For PUC, Degree, Diploma, JOC, TCH & .. Rs.300/-p.s./p.a. other similar courses
ii) For MA.MSc, M.Com, MSW, LLB,LLM,BEd,etc. Rs.400/-p.s./p.a.
iii) For professional courses like B.E., MBBS Rs.500/-p.s./p.a. BDS,MBA,MCA Ayurvedic, Homeopathy,Unani , etc. (graduation & P.G.courses)

Procedure

The number of application forms will be sent to the colleges by the B.Cs. Extension Officer through the T.Ps. of the concerned Taluks. The Principals and Heads of the institutions will distribute the applications to the eligible students and then collect the filled in application forms along with relevant documents and submit to the B.Cs Extension Officer.

These filled in applications will be examined and the documents will be verified according to rules and then the eligible students will be sanctioned the post-matric scholarship.

After sanction, the scholarship amount will be sent to the concerned institution through the consolidated cheque along with a list of awardees. Further the Head of the institution will pay the scholarship amount to each student through individual cheque.

Eligibility

All B.Cs students studying in different post-matric courses who satisfy the below Conditions are eligible to apply the scholarships,
i) The student should belong to either of the Categories of B.Cs
ii) The annual income of the parents/guardians of the students belonging to Cat.IIA, IIB, IIIA & IIIB of B.Cs shall not exceed Rs.15,000/- P.A.

iii) The student should not be the inmates of any Government or Government aided hostels.
iv) The scholarship application should be correctly filled and submitted in the prescribed format along with the documents before the last date fixed. The applications received after the last date/incomplete applications will not be valid.

Documents Required

1. Caste Certificate (in respect of Cat.I students)
2. Caste & Income certificate in respect of the students belonging to categories other than Cat.I of Backward Classes.
3. Marks Card copy of the previous year’s examination.

Step 7 : Click on “Get Scholarship Details” Button

Know Your Application Status

You have to fill the below details to Know Your Application Status,

Step 1 : Enter Application No
Step 2 : Select Academic Year
Step 3 : Select SSLC Pass Type
Step 4 : Enter Year of Pass (YYYY)
Step 5 : Enter SSLC Register Number
Step 6 : Enter Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY)
Step 7 : Click on “Get Status” Button

Prathibha Puraskar Scholarship

Required Documents :
** SSLC Marks Card
** PUC Marks Card (Only for PUC Candidate)
** Caste Certificate
** Income Certificate
** Physically Handicapped Certificate (Only for PH Candidate)
** Adhaar card or EID copy
** Bank Passbook

Download Acknowledgement

Step 1 : Enter Applicant Reference Number and Click on “Download Acknowledgement” Button

Enter the details, Which You have Given while applying for Prathibha Puraskar Scholarship
Step 2 : Select SSLC Pass type
Step 3 : Enter SSLC Registration Number
Step 4 : Select SSLC Pass Year
Step 5 : Enter Date of Birth (YYYY-MM-DD)
Step 6 : Click on “Download Acknowledgement” Button

Hostel Applications Registration

The original copy of the following documents should be uploaded online :
1. The Caste and Income Certificate from the Tahsildar / Sub-Tahsildar (the receipt of the receipt will be valid for 5 years and the Caste Certificate will be permanent.) And (Not receiving the income certificate for the employment.) The income certificate should be mandatory for education.
2. Transfer Certificate issued by concerned school-colleges
3. Aadhaar Card or EID. Number one,
4. SSLC Scoreboard and previous Class / Courses list.
5. The first page details of Bank Passbook to be clearly visible.
6. If the student is disability / blind students, a certified certificate from the concerned authorities.
7. Student’s Photo (Only JPG can be uploaded with max. Of 30 kb.)
8. Residence Certificate Letter from Village Panchayat / Local Institutions.

Student Selection Process

1. The Students selected by a committee chaired by members of the Legislative Assembly representing the majority of the taluk.
2. The candidate will be selected based on the available seats and the basis of the score. The first priority will be given to local students in the district.
3. If the student’s scores are equal, the distance of the student’s own place will be taken into consideration.
4. If students who are entitled to admission to the hostel will not be admitted to the institute, they will be considered under the Vidyasiri-Meal & Housing Assistance Program, based on eligibility criteria and availability of funds.

Prathibha Scholarship

** Candidates need to submit their applications online to apply for this scheme.
** Candidates will have to go to the Karnataka ePass official website to submit applications for Karnataka ePass Scholarship.
** After this, open the “Apply online” tab on the main page of the website.
** Now after opening it, fill all your details carefully and then submit your form.

1. Who are eligible to apply for Scholarship Schemes?

Closure dates for acceptance of various scholarship applications are available in Karnata ePass Portal.

Student can check the status of Online Application by selecting the “Know Your Status” link from Student Services drop down list. And fulfill the form with appropriate details in specified fields.
