Educational Qualification

Assistant Medical Officer / Lecturer Grade-II (Yoga and Naturopathy):
(i) Must have passed a degree or diploma in Naturopathy with not less than four years academic duration awarded by a recognised University: and
(II) Must have registered his name with the Tamil Nadu Board of Indian Medicine, Chennai.

Assistant Medical Officer (Unani) :
BUM&S or other equivalent degree which is included , in the Second     Schedule of the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970, the holders of which are eligible for registration under Class “ A “ special or class’s “A” the Tamil Nadu Board of Indian Medicine, Madras.

Assistant Medical Officer (Homoeopathy) :
Candidates should possess the following or its equivalent qualification for the post of Assistant Medical Officer (Homoeopathy) on the date of this notification.

(1) Any of the following Post Graduate Diploma of the Faculty of Homoeopathy.
(i) F.F.Hom. (Lond)
(ii) M.F. Hom (Lond)
(iii) D.F. Hom (Lond)
(or)

(2) Any Diploma granted by any of the following institutions in West Bengal, namely:
(i) The Calcutta Homoeopathic Medical College,
(ii) D.N.D.E. Homoeopathic Medical College
(or)
(iii) The Prathap and Herring Homoeopathic Medical College
(or)
(iv) The Midnapore Homoeopathy Medical College
(or)
(v) The Bengal Allen Homoeopathy Medical College
(or)

(3) Government Diploma in Integrated Medicine (Homoeopathy) awarded by the Board of Indian Medicine, Hyderabad.

Assistant Medical Officer (Ayurveda):
(i) HPIM (Ayurveda) or GCIM (Ayurveda) or L.I.M. (Ayurveda) or a degree in B.A.M.S. awarded by any one of the recongnised Universities including Dr.M.G.R. Medical University of Tamil Nadu or any other recognized degree or diploma in Ayurveda, the holders of which are eligible for registration under ‘A’ Class or ‘A’ Special Class with the Central Board of Indian Medicine, Chennai.
AND
(ii) Must have registered his / her name with the Central Board of Indian Medicine / Tamil Nadu Board of Indian Medicine, Chennai

Assistant Medical Officer (Siddha):
(i) HPIM. (Siddha) or GCIM (Siddha) or MD (Siddha) or B.I.M (Siddha) or L.I.M (Siddha) or a degree in B.S.M.S. awarded by any one of the recongnised Universities including Dr.M.G.R. Medical University of Tamil Nadu or any other recognized degree or diploma in Siddha, the holders of which are eligible for registration under ‘A’ Class or ‘A ‘ Special Class with the Central Board of Indian Medicine, Chennai.
AND
(ii) Must have registered his / her name with the Central Board of Indian Medicine / Tamil Nadu Siddha Medical Council, Chennai

a. Interested candidates are first required to log on to the Medical Services Recruitment Board’s website www.mrb.tn.gov.in
b. On the Home Page, click “Online Registration” to open up the On-Line Application Form.
c. Select the name of the post(s)
d. All the required particulars be entered without skipping any field.
e. Mobile number and e-mail ID are mandatory. All communication from MRB will be sent to the registered mobile number by SMS and registered e-mail IDONLY. No Communication will be sent by Post.

Note:
Online application once registered/completed will not be allowed to be withdrawn and/or the fee paid towards the registration/application will not be refunded/adjusted for any reason.

Selection Procedure

Selection will be made based on the marks obtained in the Computer Based Test, duly following the rules of reservation and communal rotation of Government of Tamil Nadu and satisfaction of the Qualification and other conditions stipulated in this Notification.

Exam Centre

Examination will be held at Chennai. Candidates should appear for the examination at their own expenses and no TA/DA will be paid.

Hall Tickets

a. The Hall Tickets for eligible candidates will be made available in the Board’s Website www.mrb.tn.gov.in for download. No Hall Tickets will be sent by post. Intimation regarding the availability of hall ticket for download will be sent through the registered email ID / SMS to the registered mobile number.

b. The candidates, applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for admission to examination. Their admission to the examination is purely provisional subject to satisfying of the eligibility conditions. Mere issue of Hall ticket to the candidate will not imply that his/her candidature has been fully cleared by the Board.
