Applications are invited through online at Website https://schooledu.telangana.gov.in from 04.03.2024 to 02.04.2024 for recruitment of (11062) teacher posts in various categories i.e., School Assistants, Language Pandits, Secondary Grade Teachers, Physical Education Teachers and Special Education Teachers in Primary Level and Special Education Teachers in Upper Primary/Secondary Level in Government and Local Body Schools in the State through concerned District Selection Committee-2024.

Eligibility of Teacher

Educational Qualifications :
a) A candidate for selection to the posts of Teachers shall fully possess the academic and professional/ training qualifications as mentioned as per G.O. Ms No. 25, School Education(Ser.III), Department, Dated: 05.09.2023 as amended with G.O.Ms. No.1, School Education (Ser.III) Dept., Dt. 28.02.2024 & G.O.Ms.No.4, School Education (Ser.III) Dept., Dt.28.02.2024.

b) Provided further that the candidates who are pursuing final year or final semester (as the case may be) of the required qualification are also eligible to apply for the posts concerned duly submitting the details of such examination in the online application and get qualified in the said examination as on date of verification of certificates to be notified by the Commissioner of School Education.

c) Must possess Intermediate Certificate issued by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana (or) other equivalent certificates recognized by Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Telangana.

d) Must possess Academic degrees of Universities recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC).
e) Teacher Education Courses recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

f) The Applicants who have obtained requisite Degrees through Open Universities / Distance Education mode are required to have recognition by the University Grants Commission / AICTE / Distance Education Bureau as the case may be. Unless such Degrees have been recognized by the relevant Statutory Authority, they will not be accepted for purpose of Educational Qualification vide its Public Notice No. F.27-1/2012 (CPP-II), Dt. 27/06/2013.

(A university established or incorporated by or under a State act shall operate only within the territorial jurisdiction allotted to it under its Act and in no case beyond the territory of the State of its location). The onus of proof of recognition by the relevant Statutory Authority that their Degrees / Universities have been recognized rests with the candidate.

g) Special Education Courses recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

Age :
The candidates should possess the Minimum 18 years & Maximum 46 years. The age is reckoned as on 01/07/2023 (Rule-12(1) (a) (v) of State and Subordinate Service Rules) and as per Adhoc Rules issued in G.O.Ms.No.30 GAD (Services-A) Dept., Dated 08.02.2024 the upper age limit is 46 years for the ensuing recruitment.
Minimum Age (18 years): Applicant should not have been born after 01/07/2005
Maximum Age (46 years): Applicant should not have been born before 02/07/1977

Method Of Recruitment for Teacher

The Recruitment shall be through a selection process consisting of Written Test and other criteria stipulated by the Government from time to time.
i. For School Assistants (SAs), Secondary Grade Teachers (SGTs), Language Pandits (LPs), Physical Education Teachers (PETs) and Special Education Teachers in Primary Level in the category of Secondary Grade Teacher and Special Education Teachers in Upper Primary/Secondary Level in the category of School Assistant in Government and Local Body Schools in the State.

The total marks shall be 100, out of which 80 marks shall be for the Written Test (DSC-2024) and remaining 20 marks (20%) Weightage for Marks obtained in TSTET / APTET / CTET. In case of APTET, scores obtained before the appointed day i.e., 02-06- 2014 shall only be considered.

ii. For School Assistant (Physical Education) and Physical Education Teachers (PETs) the total marks of 100 shall be for the written test.
iii. Recruitment will be purely based on merit cum roster system as per the existing provisions being adopted by Government of Telangana.

Application Fees of Teacher

The applicants have to pay a fee of Rs.1000/- for each post separately towards application processing fee and conduct of Computer Based Test (CBT). Fee can be paid through Payment Gateway from 04.03.2024 to 02.04.2024. The last date for payment of fee is 02.04.2024 and last date for submission of application through online is upto 03.04.2024.

On successful payment of fee, the candidate will be allotted a ‘Payment Reference ID with that, ‘Payment Reference ID’ he/she can proceed for submission of online application form at Website https://schooledu.telangana.gov.in. Mere allotment of ‘ Payment Reference ID’ does not mean that the candidate has completed submission of application form through online, it’s just only a confirmation of fee payment received.
