Women & Child Assam Security Guard, Multi-purpose Staff

The Directorate of Women and Child Development, Assam invites applications from eligible candidates who are citizens of India and fulfill the eligibility norms of educational qualification, age, experience etc. as mentioned below again each category of purely temporary contractual posts under “Shakti Sadan” for districts of Bajali, Baksa, Barpeta, Biswanath, Bongaigaon, Cachar, Charaideo, Chirang, Darrang, Dhemaji, Dhubri, Dibrugarh, Dima-Hasao, Goalpara, Golaghat, Hailakandi, Hojai, Jorhat, Kamrup Metro, Kamrup, Karbi- Anglong, Karimganj, Kokrajhar, Lakhimpur, Majuli, Morigaon, Nagaon, Nalbari, Sivasagar, Sonitpur, South Salmara-Mankachar, Tamulpur, Tinsukia, Udalguri and West Karbi-Anglong.

Eligibility Criteria

Resident Superintendent : Any woman having a Masters in Law/ Social Work/ Sociology/Social Science/Psychology with at least 5 years” experience of working on women related relevant domains in an administrative set-up with a Government or Non-Government project programme and preferably with at least 1-year experience of counselling either within or outside the same set-up. Candidate should be preferably a resident of the local community so that local human resource and expertise is utilized for effective functioning of the centre.

Office Assistant : Any person who is a graduate with a minimum of 3- years’ experience handling office documentation related job with proficiency in working on computers, at state or district level with government or Non Governmental organizations.

Multi-purpose Staff : Any person who is literate with knowledge / experience of working in the relevant domain. High School pass or equivalent willbe preferred.

Cook : Any person who is literate with knowledge / experience of working in the relevant domain. High School pass or equivalent will be preferred.

Security Guard/ Night Guard : Any person having at least 2 years experience of working as security personnel in a government or reputed organization at the district/ state level. He/ she should preferably be retired military/ para-military personnel.

How to Apply?

** Interested candidates having the requisite qualification and experience may submit the online Application from 27-02-2024 till 18-03-2024 (11.30 PM).

** The shortlisted candidates will be called for Walk-in-In Interview and Skill Test for the post of Office Assistant through their respective Email IDs only. No separate call letters will be issued to concerned candidates and no TA/DA will also be provided for attending the same.

** The schedule of Walk-in-Interview will be published on the website i.e. womenandchildren.assam.gov.in. A candidate can apply for a particular position in only one district. The candidate must be a minimum of 21 years and a maximum of 38 years of age as on 01/01/2022 with a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit for candidates under SC, ST (P) and ST(H) categories.
