How to Check GPF & Pension Status in Tamil Nadu?

You can check GPF & Pension Status. This facility is provided by AGAE Tamil Nadu.

GPF Subscribers are requested to submit their Final Closure Application through their DDOs atleast 4 months before their date of Superannuation

Services Offered :

** Final Withdrawal Details

1. Opening/Closing Balance gives the yearly Opening and Closing Balance. The year has to be selected from the list.
The Opening/Closing balance report will appear as shown below.

2. Credit/Debit Details gives the list of transactions related to the given year. The list includes monthly subscriptions, temporary advances made, part final withdrawal, etc.
The report will appear as shown below.

3. Current Balance will give the Current Opening Balance, Current year Credits & Debits and the Current Closing Balance.
The report will appear as shown below.

4. Current Year Credits will give the cumulative credits made during the current financial year.
The report will appear as shown below.

How To Register Grievance?

Follow the below procedure to register your grievances

For redressal of grievances of general nature, you may write to:

Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) :
An Interactive Voice Response System has been launched recently for the benefits of all the Pensioners in the State of Tamil Nadu. Using this we can obtain all relevant information regarding the status of their Pension proposals.

Also, through this system, All India Service Officers and other GPF subscribers will be able to know the status of their Provident Fund Account in respect of the following
** Balance at Credit
** Details of the missing credits
** Details of debit transactions
** Status of the Final withdrawal application
** Previous closing balance

To get information through IVRS : Dial 044-2431 4477

Pension Grievances :
** A Pension Enquiry Cell in the office of the Accountant General (A&E) Tamil Nadu redresses the grievances of the Tamil Nadu State Government Pensioners.
** Pensioners may contact the above Cell in person to redress their grievances on all working days during 10.00 AM to 12.30 PM and 2.00 P.M. to 4.00 PM .
** Pensioners may contact reception to approach the Pension Enquiry Cell.

GPF Subscribers Grievances :
** A Subscriber Grievance Cell in the Office of the Accountant General (A&E) Tamil Nadu helps for the needs of subscribers.
** They can contact personally with their grievances/ difficulties. It will be solved on priority basis.
** Subscribers can also collect their GPF Annual Accounts Statement from the Subscriber Cell, in case of non-receipt of the same, from their respective departments.
** GPF subscribers may contact the above cell on all working days during 10.00 AM to 12.30 PM and 2.00 P.M. to 4.00 PM .
** Subscribers may contact reception to approach the Subscriber Grievance Cell.

In case of any grievance you may write to :

Receipt of Fee

You can make a request for obtaining information under Section 6(1) of RTI Act. For that you are required to pay an application fee of Rs.10- by way of cash against proper receipt or by DD or bankers cheque (not a personal cheque).

It should be drawn in favor of Pay and Accounts Officer/IAD, Chennai or Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in favor of Pay and Accounts Officer/IAD, Chennai.

The fee shall be charged by way of cash against proper receipt or by DD or bankers cheque payable to the AO of the public authority at the following rates
** Rs.2- for each page (in A-4 or A-3 size paper) created or copied.
** Actual charge or cost price of a copy in larger size paper.
** Actual cost or price for samples or models; and
** For inspection of records, no fee for the first hour; and a fee of rupees five for each subsequent hour (or fraction thereof).

For providing the information under sub-section (5) of section 7 the fee shall be charged by way of cash against proper receipt or by DD or bankers cheque.

It can be payable to the Accounts Officer of the public authority at the following rates :
** for information provided in diskette or floppy Rs.50- per diskette or floppy and
** for information provided in printed form at the price fixed for such publication or Rs.2- per page or photocopy for extracts for the publication.

Application Fee and other Fees charged for providing the information under section 6(1) of RTI Act Sub section (1) and (5) of section 7 shall be in the form of cash or cheque / DD / Bankers Cheques. DD Bankers Cheques should be drawn in favour of Pay & Accounts Officer / IAD, Chennai.
