Pgportal Public Grievances Registration

The grievances received by the Department are forwarded to the concerned Ministries/Departments/State Governments/UTs, who are dealing with the substantive function linked with the grievance for redress under intimation to the complainant.

Click the Registration link available in the left panel of Pgportal home page.

You are required to fill out the registration form to submit the grievance.

You will receive a confirmation message on screen as below

Login with your user name & password available in left panel of home scree.

Verify your mobile number.
Enter OTP received on your mobile number

An email with verification link is already send to given email address. Click on link in sent email to verify your email address. If email is not received, click on resend email button.

After your verified email login with your user name & password to register grievance. You will receive the following screen.

Lodge Public Grievance

Click Lodge Public Grievance available in your home page.

List of subjects/topics which can not be treated as grievance :
** RTI Matters
** Court related / Subjudice matters
** Religious matters
** Grievance against foreign Government
** Only grievance may be registered and not suggestions
** Grievances of Government employees concerning their service matters including disciplinary proceedings etc. unless the aggrieved employee has already exhausted the prescribed channels keeping in view the DoPT OM No. 11013/08/2013-Estt.(A-III) dated 31.08.2015

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I lodge the grievance?
The grievances can be lodged online on . In cases where internet facility is not available or even otherwise, the citizen is free to send her/his grievance by Post. There is no prescribed format.

The grievance may be written on any plain sheet of paper or on a Postcard / Inland letter and addressed to the Department.

What happens when I lodge the grievance?
The grievance is acknowledged online or by post. A unique registration number is given to each grievance.

What happens to the grievances? How are the grievances dealt with in Central Ministries/Departments?
Every Central Ministry / Department has designated a Joint Secretary or a Director / Deputy Secretary, as its ‘Director of Grievances’. He / She is the nodal officer for redress of grievances on work areas allocated to that particular Ministry / Department.

After redress, can the grievance be re-opened for further correspondence about it having been closed without details etc.?
No. In such situations, the citizen will have to lodge a fresh grievance drawing reference to the closed grievance, and call for details.

What is the system of granting personal hearing on grievances?
Every Wednesday of the week has been earmarked for receiving and hearing of grievances by the Director of Public Grievances in person.

What are the types of grievances which are not taken up for redress by the Department?
** Subjudice cases or any matter concerning judgment given by any court.
** Personal and family disputes
** RTI matters
** Anything that impacts upon territorial integrity of the country or friendly relations with other countries

What is the time limit for redress of grievance?
Sixty (60) days. In case of delay an interim reply with reasons for delay is required to be given.

What action can be taken by me in case of non-redress of my grievance within the prescribed time?
You may take up the matter with the Director of Public Grievances of the Ministry/Department concerned whose details are available on the pgportal.

Grievance Description : I am a Central Government employee working in Prasar Bharati, All India Radio and Doordarhan on deemed deputation,requests you to Resolve the following Core issues Supported by various Court Judgment including the Hon’ble Supreme Court. Three of these issues, ACP as per CAT Verdict Patna upheld by the Hon’ble Supreme Court, One Cadre One Pay and Tech Pay Parity with Lighting Assistants are Approved by the DG (AIR) i.e. Cadre Control Authority and Prasar Bharati Board.   1. I have deposited Rs. 2045 in my PLI policy number OR-102746-CC on 26-2-2018 and Rs. 935 in the Policy Number OR-112931-CC on 5-3-2018. But, I have not received the amount yet. Please reply.

Honorable PM, I think that our country must sorry, not only our country but the whole world must unite together for the welfare of the humanity and solve all the global crisis instead of fighting (or) quarreling among ourselves and fight against terrorism and poverty, because the money we all are spending on weapons of mass destruction but a little of it is needed to solve the food problem of all the world and for the sake of humanity, sir please try to unite all nations as you have been in every nation for friendly relationship and I fore see that you seek welfare of all the earth, hope to see you elected as the PM once more and I have many more ideas of improving the present and the future OK and thank you for reading this till end.
